It could be said that I love the outdoors and what I love the most about touring is the ablity to travel the world and investigate the fabulous countries and cultures that are out there. I'm not one to sit about in my hotel room on a day off, I like to get out amongst it.

I have a passion for hiking and mountains, given the oppotunity, I will find a mountain to climb or a forest to explore. There are some fabulous walks around some of the worlds great cities, for instance, you can take a metro train from the center of Oslo and be out walking around the lakes and forests of Norway in a little over 30 minutes, perfect if you hotel room isn't ready when you arrive.

Some of the epic places I've had the chance to visit include: Mount Ruapehu New Zealand, Mount Kinabalu Borneo, Mount Fuji Japan, Diamond Head Peak, Whistler Canada, Lake Louise Banff Canada, Sedona USA, Grand Canyon, Niagra, Machu Pichu Peru, Vale Navaro Chile, The Blue Mountains Sydney Australia, Borobudur Temple Indonesia.

Along with my wife and Black Labrador Smudger, we own a motorhome, and spend a lot of our downtime exploring the UK and Europe. Below are some photos of some of the places we've come across in our travels.
